I don't know about toxins or parasites. But many of my symptoms started in high school, and most of the GI symptoms dropped off when I went gluten-free about 3 years ago. Constipation and mucus was the only GI symptom I had left until I did this cleanse. Now I have bloating and gas and all sort of things.
I had the same thought... cut back to bare minimum diet with no supplements and see if it all improves.
The naturopath didnt seem to think it was Candida... and I have never had any yeast infections anywhere ever in my life. But I am taking acidophilus.
I had considered parasite cleanse, but frankly, don't want to give my gut yet another hit right now.
I don't seem to be bothered by papaya, maybe I could take a papaya enzyme. Good thought. Thanks so much for your input!!
