Re: Why is the Cutler protocol so popular? N/M

I think there are several reasons.

1. There are many reports that people are improving considerably from things such as MS, autism, psychiatric problems, etc after their HMO doctors could not give them significant hope for improvement.

2. Unlike other protocols where there is considerable risk--dmpsbackfire.com, there is a low likelihood of getting worse in the long term from using the Cutler protocol.

2. With a PhD in chemistry, he has a solid educational background. Most medical doctors don't have a PhD in chemistry and little training in handling chronic mercury exposure.

4. He had a mercury related set of illnesse3 but greatly improved with his protocol.

5. It is standing the test of time. His first book, Amalgam Illness is over 10 yrs old (updated version coming soon I hear). It is proving to be both safe and effective.

In the long term, he may be best known for his statistical analysis of the DDI Hair Elements test as way to provide a high degree of certainty that Hg is causing problems with movement of essential elements (chromium, zinc, etc) across cell membranes. http://www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html

This test Matches a Cutler rule which indicates problematic levels of Hg (notice the symptom list below the test).
