Re: Nobody cares about us: FACT

What I don't get is how most people I encounter don't even take into consideration the possibility that there is a medical cause to my odour and it has nothing to do with hygiene. Like if someone smells that bad on a daily basis, so bad that their odour can fill up an entire room, why can't people (even educated people with masters degrees in Science who I've worked with) even consider the possibility that there is a medical cause that I have no control over and it has nothing to do with hygiene.

It's like they think were so stupid that even though we are adults that have college degrees, we don't know how to take a proper shower? They think we enjoy smelling bad most of the time and we enjoy the constant degradation and humiliation we receive on a daily basis.

Or they think we don't know we smell bad. Like how could someone smell that bad and not know they smell bad? It's like they consider every possiblity, except that it might be a medical condition, because if it was a medical condition then they couldn't treat us so badly. And I really think a lot of people enjoy the fact that we smell bad and take pleasure in the abuse they give us and see us receive. It's truly a cruel world with very little empathy. Sometimes I wonder if I didn't have this horrible condition would I be just as cruel?

And I'm constantly being accused of being on drugs. No it's impossible that you have some sort of medical condition, you must be a hardcore drug addict. If a medical condition was causing this unpleasant odour then we couldn't treat you badly, so it has to be drugs. Yeah, that's it, we have no proof that you're on drugs, but let's just assume you are so we can treat you worse than we treat any other human being in our so-called civilized society. Like just cause I smell like I shit myself, people think I'm an opiate addict. Then when I do use drugs or alcohol to escape the hell people put me through, those same people look down on me and say, oh yeah that's why you stink, because you're a damn drug addict. There truly is no escape, not even drugs or alcohol give me peace anymore.

The only thing you can do is be confrontational about it. If you get even the slightest mistreatment from people, especially if it's at the workplace, then confront them about it. Tell them how stupid they are not even to take into consideration the possibility that you have a medical condition and tell them to their face, infront of others, how cruel and what a bad person they are being.
