It is very difficult to have a view about your post. There is no data available to indicate that flushing before surgery will help quell the after effects. However, your anxiety about the surgery should not be associated with the liver or flushing. The rule of thumb is that you flush until you are clear of stones for 3 flushes in a row. After that and taking on board other life-changes the liver will recover (often called detoxify). The "experts" believe that this can take up to 6 months.
