I have "alligator" skin on my hands and now up my arms. I have a few small spots that is missing pigment. I am super pale anyway. I'll try the dawn. I've used baking soda to strip my hair before, that's what a beauty school told me to do. Right now I use Jason's tea tree shampoo, but it seems drying even though it's supposed to be moisturizing.
I started putting blackstrap molasses in my coffee instead of sugar. It's supposed to help iron replacement and they say can turn your gray hair around (it won't get rid of the current gray, but it will start to grow back to your original color). I'm not sure I buy that, but it's worth a shot. It does make me bloated.
I take a supplement called chloroxygen that helps with my energy levels.
I have coconut oil, but not the extra virgin. Does it really make a difference if you are just applying it topically?
