Please keep the group informed about how you get on. You have remind us all that they are different ways to tackle a health problem and that we mustn't be too precious about our own beliefs. Keep in mind that this is
Liver Flushing support forum that also happens to one of the more lively groups on curezone and although we like to be informed and educated it is not at the expense of flushing.
The information below in to help clarrify a few issue raised within these threads.
There are several different types of "gallstone conditions" some of which are cause by a single event such as bacteria in the biliary tree and other by chemical imbalances, liver conditions and other factors.
Black and brown pigment stones which are usually radio-opaque (show up on an x-ray) are in the minority and may even be attached to the viscous inner layer of the gall bladder. These can be extremely difficult to remove by flushing and may be helped by the use of supplements to dissolve them and dilute the thick mucus in which they are suspended. Biliary sludge being dense but not as dense as pigment stones will show up clearly on a ultrasound. Common "green Cholesterol stones" which have a very similar density to bile often do show up in an ultrasound examination.
Even so some stones will not even dissolve but you won't know until you try which can take quite a long time even years. Half the people that have pigment
Gallstones also have an underlying liver condition and/or a reduced gallbladder function.
If you eat a "normal meal", for example, having a mix of protein (15%), carbohydrate (60%) and fat (25%) a fully functioning gallbladder will usually empty by about 75%. Occasionally it may be beneficial to eat more "good" fat to encourage a greater emptying.
