Lying down position after drinking OO/GJ

Hi:
I have read conflicting reports abt lying down position after drinking the potion.
1. Lie down flat.
2. Lie down on the right side( where the liver is) with feet tucked in. for at least 30 mins and then u can lie on back.

Which is the best postion to lie down? Whats the Science behind these positions? I was thinking #2 is better option. Any comments?
