I have one more quick question: He mentions bringing the mixture to a boil; correctshould I apply it while it's still warm/hot, should I let it cool down,I wouldn't suggest putting something that's boiling hot on a paper towel and then putting it on your sking without letting it cool down. I'm sure "let it cool before using" is implied. or is the boiling of the mixture not necessary if I can bring it to a toothpaste consistency through mixing it without heat? The instructions say to boil it - I've done hundreds of them and always followed the instructions. I don't know "if it's necessary", but unless you know for sure I suggest making it "as written".
By the way, I thought of wetting the skin-side paper towel to make it more permeable. Paper towel is kinda thick, but then so is cheese cloth, etc. I'll avoid doing that then. Think of it like a dry sponge - is the sponge more permeable to tiny particles when it's dry or when every hole is filled up with water/liquid? When it's dry :) If we want things to go through holes, we don't fill up the holes with something else :)
