Celery, carrot, with apple is what I juice the most of. Add a little ginger and beet, or greens like spinach or chard.

A good way to wash produce is to use 1/4 cup of 3% h202 in a sink full of water for 5 minutes, then rinse in plain water.

Some people use bleach and I even used to use it but it needs to be at a certain small % and for not too long. Always yielded very nice clean smelling produce after rinsing and air drying. I think it was 1 tsp per sinkfull or something like that.
