Re: Castor oil packs and hypoglycemia - Attn: HealthyArtist and other people with hypoglycemia..
If you're liver is now 'chronically painful' that's a HUGE clue to why your hypoglycemia is so 'chronically extreme'.
Check out a few pages of this search (not sites, but PAGES :::grin:::) hypoglycemia OR "low blood sugar" + LIVER:

If you do a castor oil pack on a 'chronically painful' liver, you are likely to experience a substantial response....and that could include dumping incredibly stale/toxic bile and/or rotting liver flukes.
So please be sure you're having at least two (I'd strongly advise three) bowel movements daily, so that if you do dump stale/toxic bile and fluke carcasses into your intestinal tract, they won't lay around assimilating and reassimilating for any length of time. Anything mixed with bile (and bile itself) assimilates extremely quickly, directly to the liver.
I think it's also very likely that a castor oil pack would decrease your 'chronic pain' substantially...and that it's a great idea.
Just first, physician...be sure to do no harm.
Blessings,
Uny
P.S. Another therapy that would be EXTREMELY beneficial is a charcoal poultice on the liver. The charcoal poultice over your liver is so effecting and pulling toxins to itself, that it will draw toxins from the liver, through the skin, and into itself. Here's how it's done:

In fact, doing an overnight charcoal poultice would help to ensure the castor oil pack was more beneficial (and less likely to cause a strong 'reaction')
