I just wanted to add to this whole conversation. I have had adrenal fatigue off and on for years and years. It started out with episodes of fatigue. Now later in my life I when I stress out too much my cortisol gets stuck on. Meaning I can't sleep to repair my body properly. I start getting double bags under my eyes, I lose muscle tone, I wake every morning after five hour of sleep. I look bad I start getting fuzzy thinking, my memory is suffering, at one point I started bruising easily and my legs gave out from under me. High cortisol all the time is not a good thing. Sure you can stay up all night and you body doesn't hurt after working out but you also can build and tone muscle. The cortisol also make you anxious with negative thoughts. I spent a whole year of my life unable to get any real sleep it was horrible. Now my liver is congested and I have aged much faster. Until you experience too high cortisol you don't understand what negative effects it has on your body. It's not normal and doesn't allow your body and mind rest and repair. I have been searching and praying for ways to get my cortisol down to a normal level.
