Re: Liver & Brain Fog
It's a bit early for me to say that my brain fog has gone away with flushing...but here's my story
I'm almost 59. For over 25 years I have wrestled with what I thought was low blood sugar. Symptoms were primarily brain fog, low grade frontal headaches, fatigure, and constant bronchial problems. About 4 years ago I had an experience that brought me to my knees. After lunch at work one day, I got so pale and dizzy and cold that I could not keep my head up from my desk. I was barely able to drive myself home.
After endoscopies, colonoscopies, ear nose and throat specialists, and pulmonary specialists....I finally saw an allergist who diagnosed me as being sensitive to various airborne allergens (mold, Grass smut, grain smut, etc.) and those sensitivities were also making me sensitive to foods related to the mold family (mushrooms, onion, garlic, strawberries, grapes, potatoes, wheat, oats, etc.)
In the last 4 years....I've tried eliminating these things from my diet and avoiding the airborne particulates (as much as you can in Virginia). That alone did not significantly help my symptoms. About 7 months ago I started with allergy shots....which I will say have provided some help...but have not solved the problem.
In January I turned to this board and started flushing. Last weekend I just finished my 5th flush (to date I've flushed out at least 1000 stones.....over 30 of which were 1/2" diameter or more).
I'm noticing significant improvement in my sensitivities. I still can get brain fog if I try to over do it (glass of beer, some crackers, chips, etc.) but I can tolerate more of each without getting the sever symptoms that I once had. I'm confident that by the 10th - 12th flush....I may be symptom free.
