You are confusing thiol sensitivity and sulfation. What Cutler is saying about restricting thiols does not relate to the sulfation detox pathway. That is helped with taking sulfates and molybdenum. See http://onibasu.com/wiki/Cysteine_status

If you have high cysteine, you won't feel very good eating lots of cruciferous vegetables or tumeric, but there is a range of tolerance.

Sulfation is only one of the many liver detox pathways. There are others (the major ones are in his book on the relevant chart).
