Re: fruitarian pioneer, Essie Honiball, 86 the benefits of fruit diet.

My grandmother looked as good as she did in her 90s (old, but not shrivelled). Since nobody has been able to show a picture of an older person on the ultimate diet that has a noticeable difference between their age and their looks (at least I have not seen one), I have to believe that it is more genetic than diet. You can say all you want about the pollutants we breathe or the chemicals in our food nowadays, but those do not seem to be changing anytime soon except maybe for the worst.

I have a large family and between those who eat midway healthy vs those on SAD, we all age at about the same rate. Most of us whom I am comparing can pass to be in our 20s even though some of the older ones are nearing 50. Some of us were even mistaken for teens even though none are younger than 30. Others whom I have seen looked young? Most of the family looked young which adds weight to my beliefs.

This makes it very hard to convince family members to change their diet since young = healthy. I must say the fruitarian lady is fit though and that is a very good reason for her to stay on the diet.
