I enjoyed (if that's the appropriate word) reading your long post, Splash. It looks to me as if you have lots of knowledge and self-awareness. But I would bet my last dollar that if you were to eliminate both fruit and juice, and try to ditch the wine and chocolate at least temporarily, you might see a difference in your skin condition. And try some cooked vegetables.
It is not a popular idea, but some smart people are now saying we should eat according to our ethnicity. Have the Italians (or anyone else) eaten a 98% raw food diet through any of their history?
The raw food regimen was meant as a temporary, healing diet for certain conditions. Not a year-after-year-no-matter-what thing.
I ask: what do you have to lose by trying something completely different for awhile?
I am pulling for you. I've made dietary mistakes, too.
