Re: Newbie again_NASCENT VS LUGOL's??

It's SSKI (Saturated Solution of Potassium(K) Iodide) plus 2% Iodine.

The magnets are for the Iodine and get taped onto the bottle.

I've not had Lugol's, but I HAVE had its pill-form equivalent: Iodoral.

I am very happy with the SSKI 2% with magnets; I've even walked outside barefoot in the snow (for brief periods of time) since taking this stuff and still do not get cold.

Now, since you are going overseas, you may very well want a variety of stuff. I have read that the nascent iodines work very well with infections, especially diseases like you may also wish to purchase some straight SSKI (which is clear, like water) and some nascent.

And of course you may also wish to get Lugol's...most of the early pioneers here swear by Lugol's and its history has an excellent track record.

Good doctors of yesteryear even had a phrase they used:
"If ye do not know the what or why, prescribe ye then the K and I." (or something very close to that)
