sungazing

Hi, i have read a few things about sungazing in here, but on a dutch site they say it is bad for the eyes, i translated some.

-Why look at the sun harmful to the eye?
Types of radiation can damage the human eye. Best known is the ultraviolet (UV) light, which the eyes must be protected. UV radiation not only causes a deterioration of the cells of the skin, but also of the inner eye. This increases the quality of the eye slowly.

Wearing a good pair of sunglasses with UV filters or UV-block is very important. Thinking not only of the son wearing sunglasses in the summer sun, but during the winter, open water and beach. In these places because the light is reflected, which brings an extra intensity even when the sun shines weakly. Instead of sunglasses you can ski or a special sports glasses.

So what do i have to do to keep the sight i have now, currently i still see very good, but i was thinking about prevention.

Greets,

Rob
