Re: Does Kefir contain Candida Albicans?

What follows is just my personal opinion. Kefir made me very ill, yogurt makes me feel a lot better (homemade of course).

Kefir has various yeast species in it and I think when the body is already hypersensitized to yeast because of a chronic infection kefir often makes one feel worse.

Yogurt on the other hand contains strains which are actually native to the human body and are not yeasts.

I see kefir recommended all over this forum, but no real success stories.

Also, yogurt being heated helps breakdown that tougher to digest proteins that still remain in kefir.

Again, just my opinion. Kefir never did anything good for me.
