Re: Any theories ?

I thought we were to theorize why certain AREAS of the body responded differently to Iodine vs. iodide.

"Any theories on why some tissues in the body would respond better to elemental iodine, than they do to iodide"

I heard talk of women needing to take Lugols so they would receive a large share of the elemental which has been shown to reduce fibrosis breast tissue. Breast tissue is agreed to benefit most from elemental..... but WHY?

I knew elemental quickly attaches to a salt when ingested however I did not realize the body could make its own elemental Iodine back again. Now you need to tell us what else is needed to make it.

Is it one of the listed 'iodine companion nutrients'?
