Re: Tincturing St. Johns Wort & Lady's Slipper

I am working on getting all my stuff together to tincture.

I got all my herbs and everything early and had to wait for the new moon.  I was so excited when the herbs came, I opened each one smelled and tasted them.  I had all the herbs in the jars a couple of weeks before the new moon to get there so I could add the vodka lol!

I just called PB in regards to St. John's Wort and I think I was confused by what they had. They have available the Organic Dried flowering 3-5" tops. They told me this was the herb and flower, everything above ground. Is this all I need to tincture St. John's?

Yes, that is the St. John's Wort you want.

If possible I really wanted to tincture Lady's Slipper but I have been unable to find it listed at PB, MR or Starwest. Is this something I could find elsewhere? I would really like to tincture this if I could since money is so tight for me right now

Lady's Slipper is rare and hard to find these days and it's extremely expensive.  You're right, none of our suppliers have it.

Thanks so much!
Jackie

You're welcome so much!
