Well, for 3 years now I have always responded well to the candida diet, (however will small/moderate amounts of protein). I have consistently had a good response from undecylinic acid also. Toenail fungus, coated tongue (which I've learned may not be thrush).
I have been treated for parasites and got some degree of improvement beyond my normal plataue I think.
I have read and listened to hours of teachings regarding thyroid and adrenals. And did all the recommended things for each to no avail. I did a saliva test for cortisol and until I saw the graph that showed cortisol levels normal at 4 different times during the day, NO ONE could have convinced me that I did not have adrenal fatigue my symptoms were so classic.
If what I have read lately regarding stomach acid is true, then I can see how a person who is ill, losing weight, weak, sick and tired as many of us are. It is very likely that we are in the 40 to 50 % that do not produce enough HCL. HCL is the body's first line of defense against parasites, bacteria, virus, yeast. If it becomes low while our bodies begin to fail, I can see how this situation alone might lock in digestive problems for good.
