Why is the diet so picky?

I discovered I had candida due to a large bloated belly back in September of this year. I went on the diet and started taking natural anti fungals. i had die off problems and still do. I walk around every day with sinus congestion due to coconut oil use, and find it hard to up the dosage even though its highly recommended.
Anyway, why does the diet have to be so picky? i am not able to get food stamps again, live with my parents who eat starches all the time, and I am looking for work but am unemployed. Its not realistic to eat perfect on the candida diet and the whole thing is depressing.
I also suffer from a lifetime of hypoglycemia which means I have to eat a lot and it gets annoying especially when I dont feel well, so I just end up eating what I can. At night before bed, I have to eat to maintain my blood Sugar and I got in the habit for years of eating peanut butter but they say that is out.
I just needed to rant.
is anyone here poor and have to eat what they can? does anyone here still find anti-fungals working even though their diet is not perfect? i need some kind of hope.
Its been three months and I was on it for a month, and then after that became real sick of eating the same stuff and ate whole grains and went back to coffee with cream and sugar.
the belly bloating wont go away, and im literally doing the best I can. maybe not diet wise, but i have to eat to survive. know what I mean?
