Here's what I can't figure out:
Let's say a person w/ candidiasis is feeling fine. Then they eat something very sugary and w/in 2--4 minutes they get an itch in their crotch area. The Sugar obviously didn't have time to travel the GI tract down to the colon, which takes about 24 hours. So the candida must have been fed by a rise in the blood Sugar level. I guess the extra Sugar gets dumped out to the dermis. I know sugar is inflammatory to the skin. So I assume the candida feasting on this causes the itching. Is the candida living on the surface of the skin? I never have any visible signs, until I scratch a lot, then redness/pinkness. But I guess it's on the skin and not below the skin. This happens to me less and less but I'd still like to know the physiology... I'm sure having sub-par adrenals plays a big role.
