HV, a simple, layman's comprehensive approach...

to aging without illness!

HV, Can you outline what would be a simple approach to
maintaining the integrity of the body into "old age"?

I'm talking about what's widely accesssible, (okay, in North America)) though not necessarily thought of by most.

Let me contextualize this better; I had a dream in which old ladies, very wrinkled faces, but standing tall, and looking fiercely alive, said to me, amidst a room of people wrapping thier arthritic limbs, and having to ask others to do this for them, and all being in gret pain:

"you can get old, you don't have to be sick."
And their eyes glittered so--it stayed with me.

So, I got to thinking.( as you might recally, my mother has Arthritis and has had a hip replaced...)
What are the things people can do generally, day to day, not taking lots of specialized herbal powders (nothing against this btw, and it is good for a time, but I do not believe people should have to be 'bound' to any one thing,
supplement-wise/drug-wise, for "the rest of their lives".

So, what would you recommend, if you were to put togther a list?

somewhere on this would have to go a form of lymphatic
attention, right? so I'd pick "skin brushing", there.
(it's easy enough, low cost...)

Can you please give your thoughts; both nutritional and general lifestyle. (For example, how much credence do you give the idea of being in bed by 10:00--said to be best for the body's restoration. Personally, if I sleep that early, I'm up at 4, and that only works if I'm in retreat.( where it's quiet, and I can rest throughout the day.)

I'm thinking things like, superior nutritionally-dense foods that are cheap. I'm thinking "universal", so to speak.

thanks
C
