Re: Dr. Bailey: mom & dd dealing with pinworms and parasites
Dear Dr. Bailey,
This is distressing news. I do not hesitate to think you are right. I am tired quite often, and I am anemic.
I do wonder, however, whether I have pinworms as well, as I do feel the itching in both the anus and vagina, and I have seen them. I wonder, too, if the infection isn't clearing because of the other parasites my body seems to be harboring. I'd never had pinworms until recently, and it seems as though it doesn't matter what I do: they're hanging on for dear life and refuse to let go.
I hope that I am not transmitting these parasites to my daughter via breastmilk. I am afraid that I am.
I will look into the weaning process as this seems to be the only solution at the moment. It hurts my heart, but sometimes you have to make these sorts of choices. I suppose I am only afraid that I'll emotionally hurt my daughter by weaning her so soon, though I'm sure one day she wouldn't remember this.
Thank you so much for your support and your time, and hopefully I'll be in contact with you soon.
