2nd Outbreak

Despite first having peeling lips in 2004. Yesterday I hadn't even heard of EC. My derm diagnosed me with Eczema of the lips. Googled it, found EC and now have no doubt.

First time around I beat it with homeopathy & probiotics. Swore blind I'd never return to the medical profession. And thought it was kicked. But now has frustratingly returned, after an absense of 4 years :(

I've since gone macrobiotic, in an attempt to outhealthy whatever it is. I am convinced it was caused from the damage Roaccutane did in my teens and microwaving plastic ready-meals. So far I'm getting limited success. I'm confused what cured it in the first place - the bombardment of drugs or the complete switch away.

Out of interest how many people here use barrier cream? If so do you have problems talking (esp m's and p's)? And has it helped overall?
