To start with, with the millions of dollars they spent on researching the formula you would think that someone would have researched the fact that catechins are polyphenols.  Yet they keep referring to them as different things.

They also mention that the product has caffeine, but say that it is balanced by the theanine.  If they were isolating the polyphenols for concentration as they claim  I would think that they would have purified the polyphenols, which would eliminate the caffeine and theanine.  So i think there product is not as concentrated as they claim.

And they say it raises SOD by 66%.  Amla has been shown to raise SOD by about 80%, making amla a stronger and cheaper antioxidant without any caffeine.  Rooibos tea also contains an SOD-like compound, and like amla contains no caffeine.

Bottom line is that there is more hype than anything.

Also keep in mind that more is not better, especially when it comes to antioxidant activity.  We need free radicals to stay healthy and survive.  And excess antioxidants actually weaken the immune system.
