yes, I read an inflammed or irritated gut could lead to lack of stomach acid produced.
Glutamine is generally recommanded for healing the gut but you can find it in food like beef, chicken, eggs, dairy, wheat, beans, fish....

I heard a guy healing his gut with chicken....

Also read something about Selective IgA Deficiency.
This igA can come back to normal with the proper conditions I believe.
