Re: Scoliosis

HV what do you recommend for scoliosis ? Chiropractor, osteopath, physio etc? which one? Ok thanks

Scoliosis is really easy to straighten.  I would recommend a massage therapist that knows what they are doing though.  The trick to straightening out the spine is to release the muscles on the side of the curve.  The muscles on both sides on the spine are contracting, but the side of the curve is contracting harder.  If the muscles on the side of the curve are relaxed the opposing muscles will pull the spine back the other direction.  So have the massage therapist do a somewhat deep massage on the side of the spine on the outside of the curve, not the inside.  If the  "O"s are the spine the "X"s will be the parts of the spine where the muscles need to be released:

O

O

 OX

    OX

       OX

     OX

O

O

As those muscles are released the spine where the muscles are released will go back the other direction.  It generally takes about 20 to 40 minutes to straighten the spine.
