If you do have hashimotos, getting on Iodine and selenium is important to bring down the antibodies. A lot of folks with hashis have noticed a big difference in going gluten free. My mom and brother both have hashis. She was just recently diagnosed hypo about 2 years ago and with hasis recently. Why she didn't request her doc to run the antibodies at the same time, I dunno. He would have, we have the same doctor and he's an absolute peach. Anyway, she's been working on her adrenal fatigue, and still not feeling better and then decided (after I've mentioned it like a dozen times) to cut out gluten as a trial. She's noticing that she's feeling better when she doesn't eat gluten.
