1,622 IPS students sent home for lack of proof of shots
Anya Cooper thought she had taken all the appropriate steps to ensure her child had the proper vaccination documentation.
But her son was missing one thing: a green sticker.
The sticker was required by Indianapolis Public Schools officials Monday to prove students had documentation of new shots required by a state law that went into effect this year.
No sticker, no school.
