Re: what to do with a lovely herb pulp
HV, the verdict on the glycerite taste -I don't know what to call it yet- is that it tastes like a "temple candy".
I'm pretty happy with that. (I made this for my companion mainly, who complains about such things as Dr. Christopher's eyewash, with the cayenne. I wonder how he'd like this, if it wasn't sweet.)
I have been thinking "candy" though, and since glycerine is NOT sugar, and doesn't create that spike and then the immune shutdown, hmmm. Haunted by the smell of the "marc" before it ever saw the glycerine, I froze it tonight, thinking maybe I can use it for something, when I'm back to eating/tasting.
Have you done any experiementing with this sort of dense pulp, and candy-ish things? I'm actually not a candy person, but the thought of an herbal "temple candy" that also is a great tonic and so on...
well.
