Good point! Except for your birthday, nobody needs sugar or even fruit if you have candida.
Years ago I had an older lady staying at my place as a guest for a couple of days and my heart ached to watch her try to cope with her MD's anticandida diet. She could eat almost nothing of what I served [didn't bother me, I understand the sway that doctors have] except plain tea. She brought along her own little packages of instant oatmeal and that was it. She couldn't even eat plain vegetables "because they might have touched the ground, and soil contains bacteria".
To top things off she was coping with skin cancer! I mean, geeze, you need lots of good food to deal with cancer.
Last I heard, the cancer treatments on her leg were too harsh and they burnt her leg so bad that they then amputated her leg.
