"Skin on your lips and around your mouth is a projection image of your digestive tract, your intestines and your reproductive organs."
Has anyone had a parasite test like someone described in this thread 4 years ago?
"I have had this problem for 9 years. I have recently been seeing a Natropath and a Gastroenterologist (bowel specialist). Both believe the lip problem is bowel related. I recently had stool test called a Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parasitology. This was done at a laboratory called Doctor's Data. It is a very detailed test which gives you all sorts of information about your intestinal health including how you are digesting your food, whether you have any parasites and a whole lot of other things too numerous to go into.
Today I found out the results. It showed a severe parasitic infection. It is apparantly at the extreme end of the scale. I had no idea. This type of infection can cause damage to mucous membranes so could possibly be what has caused the damage to the lips.
I know it sounds gross. I was horrified to find out I have parasites. To get rid of them you can take prescibed Antibiotics or some potent herbs (if you want to take the natural route).
I would be really interested to see if any of you have a parasitic infection you may be unaware of. The test I did was a very expensive one, however you can request a parasitic stool test through your local doctor. Just be aware that parasites can be hard to detect and may not be present in the stool samples you produce but you could still have them. If you can afford it and are interested to see if you have this problem I suggest you do the test I did. Have a look at the Doctor's Data website for info.
Please please report back on this forum if you decide to do the test. I would be really interested on feedback."
