Root canal removal soon - many oral issues - I REALLY need your advice!
to keep the story short
2 yrs ago i was given a
root canal (on a tooth i could probably have kept alive but thats a different story)
the dentist's Nickel-Titanium File Tip broke off inside of one of the roots, he said it was stuck in the hole the nerves went out of and provided a seal.. he filled the tooth with sealing material.
i felt pain every time i put pressure on the tooth.
went to a holistic dentist, the xray showed nothing unusual.. they told me to wait a few months.
it has been 2 yrs. the dull pain on pressure is still there except now I have horrible breath, at times the pain increases and shoots up to head or down the jaw feels like a stressed muscle, and the tooth itself under the crown is black now! sometimes i feel a throbbing pressure.. sometimes the gum close (but not directly where) the
root canal is gets sore..
my whole mouth is in mess, gums bleed, bad bread, other teeth have cavities. I am sick of having bad teeth all my life. my diet is organic mostly..
I want this suc*** OUT!
my holistic dentist is not an oral surgeon or periodontist. The tooth is probably brittle and may shatter... so when I called them on the phone they said they will refer me to an oral surgeon (mainstream one) and ask him to remove/clean the periodontal ligament.
Should I go to the mainstream surgeon or leave the state to find an oral surgeon that is holistic or biologic?
what should I do to prepare (pre-removal) and what should i do post-removal to help heal the infection?
I am sure there is a jaw infection. What can I do to heal that? would ozone injections help?
what else can i do to have the remaining teeth re-mineralize?
Plz share with me any advice you have!
Greatly thankful!
