Hi everyone

Ive been reading posts here for a few months now. Ive had the same recurring lip peeling for the last 3 years with same old story of 4 day cycles and a constant overproduction of skin cells. Ive seen four derms and been steroids ( varying strengths) and a cream called elidel. None of this has worked as you guys have probably noticed as well. The second derm I went to was very good and we came to the realization that this problem was caused by a combination of strong eroding mouthwashes and me constantly applying lip balms. he said the lips were never allowed to breath and as a result coudnt heal themselves normally. currently im wetting small pieces of issue tissue paper in water and putting them on my lips when i sleep. I know that sounds weird but its the best way of managing this. Anyway i hope I can contribute here in some way so we can all start living carefree lives again. All the best and cheers
