Re: hypothyroidism

After a lot of researching around the internet I also came up with the thought that EC maybe connected to hypothyroidism. But your right, its preliminary and just a guess, but definitely something to look into.

Just a thought, do any of you suffer from constipation time to time? I realized that I've been quite constipated for the past year or so. I've eaten about 2 subway foot long sandwiches the past 2 days and my bowel movement is very very small and hard. When I was on Montreal's diet full of veggies and fruits, I was still constipated and my bowel movements were not consistent. I may have a serious issue with my colon and overall intestinal health. I was reading somewhere that there is a condition where the villi of our intestinal lining can be damaged and flattened from poor diet, thus causing malabsorbtion of nutrients from food. I admit that ever since EC started for me, my diet was not the best. Full of processed foods basically. Now even if I eat a ton of fruits and veggies, I won't be able to absorb all the nutrients they have to offer because my intestinal walls and villi are damaged.

Anyone else?
