Leaky Gut - bad absorption
Okay, so i've briefly looked at some websites on regards to leaky guy. I see that it is crucial to overall dieting and success with AF recovery.
Currently my stools are like pale green and sometimes i'll get chunks of my food in the stool which tells me that i'm not absorbing good. Therefore, this could only mean that i do have a leaky gut and need to heal that first and foremost.
Okay, i've started a diet close to the "akkilk" diet - only really been on it for a few days. eating the butter - about 2
oz. day right now, and also totally staying away from sugar, refined carbs, and pretty much anything that God did not create for us to eat. i lightly cook my meats and eat lettuce wraps with avocado, sheep cheese, green bell peppers, zuchini, etc.
i am taking a probiotic.
Unfortunately i can't eat too much because i get alot of heartburn and stomach discomfort, this has to be leaky gut, i'm not absorbing good enough.
To make things worse i just got off an
Antibiotic that i was on for 10 days, so yeah, got to load up on the probiotics.
My question is though, other than diet is there anything else that needs to be done for leaky gut to heal?
Also how long does it typically (on average) take for leaky gut to heal?
