please someone help with cat infested with worms

My cat is 12, for a long time it seems she's been infested with worms - in spite of the treatment that maybe I didn't do well enough. I didn't repeat the de-wormer after I initially gave her the dose. Long story short, she is now infested with intestinal worms.

She had blood work done, CBC - and all indicators are that they are now in her liver.

The vet told me to give her 3 doses on consecutive days then to repeat in 10 days same protocol.

IN THE MEANTIME - after her first dosing - she vomited up an 8 inch wiggling worm that seemed to be a roundworm though I am not sure and it's too late for verification because I stomped it and threw it away.

She's now 5 days after the first treatment - vet says to keep on the course and wait.

This was the dx from the CBC -
* Biochemistry Comments:
Total solids 8.5 g/dL. Hepatic origin may be considered for ALT.

Diagnosis
Mild eosinophilia, basophilia and lymphopenia.
Mild elevated ALT.
Mild hyperproteinemia.
Mild prerenal azotemia.
Hypokalemia.

Comments
Hemo parasites were not found in the smear.
Eosinophilia and basophilia are mild and non-specific and should be interpreted in light of clinical and deworming history.

What can I do in the meantime? Been giving her PLANT ENZYMES - read that this would do good.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP
