seaweeds are fine, but not if the kids are picky on their foods or have sensitive tastebuds. This happens a lot these days.
I put Iodine in bread, soups, smoothies, tea and homemade jam, ketchup blends easily with Lugols too.
have som vit c handy; ascorbic acid for fruity things and natrium ascorbate for salty food; as the purple color can put them off completely.

My kids enjoy putting Iodine in their juice and vit c just to see the color change in an instant.

If the Iodine evaporate it is in the air; and in this way everybody in the house enjoy the effect.
