Agreed... fruit, salad, air, sun, pure water, exercise, laughter, and mental poise... will take you places.

For me.. I have noticed my skin looks and feels better with some fats.. I prefer avocado, or a nut/seed butter made with almonds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds... and I eat a brazil nut 3-4 times a week.

You certainly do "wear" the fat you eat.. I can see the difference immediately. Also.. if you happen to consume any salt.. you will notice an immediate weight gain and your muscles will "disappear" ...

For the nutrition fanatics out there... ~10% of total calories from fat (pls note a diet of fruit and salad has ~5% fat)... point is.. you do not need very much - most tend to agree somewhere between 10-15 % is ideal.

Sometimes we have some flax seed, chia, or flax oil.. but that is rare.

@ 5'11... my weight has now "normalized"... @160-165lbs....

My health is far from perfect yet... but I am gaining on it. I have some metals left to detox I believe.. and am still recovering from 30+ years of bad dental...
