Re: Probiotics

"Does Iodine kill the beneficial bacteria in the gut?"

I have numerous times blaimed Iodine for symptoms I have had during the two years I have been on it. For some time I was convinced that Iodine killed my good bacteria; so I quit for a month; but no.. it only grew worse.

Over and over again I found out it wasnt to much iodine, it was a lack of other things; that iodine brought to light.

I tried the best probiotics that money can buy over here, I tried kefir, herbs and bitters, to no avail for my digestion problems.
What was the problem was a lack of vit B, enzymes and probably stomach acid. Lately I also found out that a lack of zinc had a say in this.

After correcting these with supplements I can even have some bread and milk without problems.

In general symptoms like this may be caused by candida, hypo T, adrenal fatigue etc. (what symptoms made us try iodine in the first place) Blaiming iodine for this may be a dead end.
