Re: New post rat study HPI fecal transplant

I was planning 2 days juice fasting

more from rat study (that thing is too wordy for me :( )

Before transplantation, the eight recipient
rats were given an oral gavage of omeprazol for 3 d at the
concentration of 50 mg/kg/d. Omeprazol reduces the gastric acid secretion by the inhibition of proton pumps, thus allowing the survival of microorganisms through the stomach.

anybody know what oral gavage is? Is that what you were
talking about dvjorge, blocking stomach acid?
I thought they just placed the Fecal Transplant from donor
into the cecum or the accepting rats?
