A colonic or enema to me just seems like washing out the colon
with water.

A lavage feels more like taking something that tells your body to spend the entire day on the toilet.

It just seems that washing with water would probably be okay,
but taking something that tells your body it must clear out the entire digestive tract is alot more complicated.

Honestly though, I really have no idea.
Maybe they did give the rats a tiny enema lol
