Re: My trip to the Tropical Disease Clinic
Well the
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome mystery is difficult to unravel as there can be so many pathogens that can cause this. I am not sure if this is the XMSA virus (I probably have the virus name wrong) but there are so many etiologies of CFS. There are many viral possibilities such as cytomegleo which is in the herpes family, I had this one and it is quite disabling. There is plenty of research to show pathogenic bacteria particullarly in the gut, yeast/fungal and of course my favorites the
parasite family specifically protozoa.
In order to properly tackle the
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome mystery, I would start with the gut ecology and do the proper testing via Metametrix. This is easy and a very good place to rule out problems. In medicine the typical way to get to wellness is to begin with 'rule outs' that is not finding out what is wrong but what is not wrong, it is a process of elimination.
CFS has many possible roots specifically in the toxin department. Toxins are overlooked as being problematic, why because they are hard to quantify. Heavy metals can be assessed thru proper testing (Doctor's Data heavy metal challenge).
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome patients always have impaired glutatione (cysteine) channels and are weak in the thiol group of amino acids and there is several reasons for this. The first is the activity of mercury and/or mercury compounds and other heavy metals. These compete with thiol groups of amino acids and destroy their functionability. This leaves both the immune system and the detox systems in weakened states. When glutathione becomes depleted in either a heightened immune state (bacteria,
parasites etc) then available glutathione is used up which leaves both the immune system in a further weakened state and the ability to detoxify dangerous chemicals and byproducts of the human biology weakened. Further toxification leads to impaired immune response and the whole cycle continues.
Vitamin D3 status should be assessed. Vit D3 is showing thru
Science that it is vital for immune system health and neurological health. Most people do not have adequate levels.
I would improve liver health thru proper cleansing (please do not consider
Liver Flushing to be liver cleansing, not the same thing,
Liver Flushing will NOT cleanse the liver properly regardless of what is said on the internet :( I would also support adrenal health.
I would assess my mineral levels which play key roles in immune and endocrine health (traceelements.com). I would pay particular attention to magnesium stores.
I would use ozone as medical-grade ozone which is the best therapy hands down. I would not use a table top ozone machine unless it can be proven that it does NOT produce harmful nitric oxides, as to date I have not seen the evidence and have been told these can be quite harmful. This is another internet fallacy :( Ozone will detoxify the body of harmful toxins, stimulate cellular responses and will kill most pathogens.
