I've taken things to help with ridding the body of biofilms but I still have a white tongue. The above poster was right on with chinese medicine. I used to go see a dr. of traditional chinese medicine....and he said white tongue does not mean candida indefinitely. Like she said it means dampness but dampness can encompass candida, bacteria, parasites, infection, not digesting food etc...it's a pretty broad term from my understanding...but don't quote me on this. In TCM white tongue can also mean liver/gall bladder congestion.
I was told to eat a lot of cooked food and not a lot of "cold" raw foods as that can contribute to dampness. I'm like you I just want to figure this out. I feel that once I can get a lot of my body back in balance and immune system going the white tongue will clear on it's own. It's just figuring out what's out of balance that's key.
