Do you have food grade DE? Just put a spoonful in a glass of water and drink it once a day for a week to kill parasites and then repeat that again in a few weeks and you'll be fine for a year or more if you don't have pets. A tiny bit of DE in a glass of water or a gallon of water is all you need for it's health benefits.

I learned to go slow with kefir. A little bit goes a log way. There's very little alcohol in kefir unless you let it ferment way too long, like when leaving any fruit juice or sugar drink out too long it turns to wine. Try to catch it right when it's got no flavor at all and a lot of fizz by taking a sip of it after three to four days and each day until it's just right. I like it plain like that so I don't flavor mine anymore but you can put berries or fruit in it and let it sit in the frig a day or two more for flavor.

Don't forget to think loving, healthy thoughts about your wonderful body cleaning itself and working properly. Sorry. I know that's easy for me to say and hard to do, but our thoughts are very powerful.
