It's great that you found something that has worked so well for ya. Yeah, I do imagine the sweetness of the syrup would be way too much at a certain point. It's amazing how much our taste buds adjust to having little sugar, and then we can immediately tell when it's too much! I find even a tbsp of honey too sweet for me, lol. I guess it's a blessing, as some (most) people don't even think twice of notice how much Sugar they consume.
I think the post that Miss H wrote below about her experiences with 'normal' people was so spot on. We've all been so 'medicated' in one form or another for so long- often the only way to change is when we actually get sick.
