Re: i want those chocolate cookies in the pantry. never craved something so bad before

First, throw anything in your cabinets or refrigerator or take them to a friends house until the cravings pass. I know you have a child but until these intense cravings go away you are just torturing yourself. It usually takes me about 2 weeks for the cravings to pass.

Sounds like you defintely have yeast overgrowth due to Antibiotics . That's exactly what happened to me. I was pregnant with my first child and I had horrible complications so I ended up getting a blood infection which resulted in a 5 week course of antiobiotics. I have never been the same since. I went from being an ex-college athlete to 200 lbs. The good news is that at least you have identified the source of your problems. It took me three years and another pregnancy to figure it out from a nutritionist.

In addition to killing the bacteria you need to add tons of good bacteria back. I highly suggest eating yogurt daily. The best is homemade yogurt. Super easy with an affordable yogurt maker. What makes homemade yogurt so good is that it's fermented for 24 hours so it's easy to digest and has lots of good bacteria. I also take the best probiotics that I can afford daily. I avoid carbs and try to limit my sugar.

After doing the above I am happy to say that I have greatly limited my symptoms. I am now thin, active and eat most of what I want within reason. However, I am still not cured.

Good Luck, hang in there, it will get better.
