Also forgot that I've had a genital rash for decades that no dermatologist
could diagnose or treat. It has been a difficult one. That
completely went away also within two weeks of 50,000 daily IU of vitamin
D3. No doctor can explain it.
More importantly though is that once you get in the 5 - 10,000 IU per day
range of vitamin D ingestion you should stop any calcium supplements you take
because there is an adverse reaction between the D and the calcium at that
level. Can't find the link, but it said the added calcium in a daily
multiple was Ok. So females in particular should be aware of that
fact. Also at increased levels it is suggested that a magnesium supplement
should be added, which I've done.
